Am Wochenende hatte ich das dringende Bedürfnis nach Sonnenuntergang am See. Zum Glück wohnt meine Freundin S. am Ammersee, also setzte ich mich in die S-Bahn und wir verbrachten den Nachmittag mit Spaziergängen am See, natürlich Tee und Kuchen, und Seepromenade im Abendrot. *** Last weekend, I had an overwhelming desire to see a sunset over a lake. So I descended on my friend S. who happens to live by one of the stunning Bavarian lakes, and we spent an afternoon walking by the lake, having tea and cakes, and walking to the station in full sunset mode.  Ich freue mich immer wieder, wenn meine Schwester in ihrem Tagebuch die Gesundheitslobby zurechtstutzt. Segeln auf dem Ammersee mit Bine und John: man isst kalte Spaghetti aus geschmackvollen IKEA Plastikschälchen, schwimmt hinter dem Boot her und schaut über den See, sonst nichts. Es gab kaum Wind, dafür viel Sonne und Gekicher. Sailing on one of Bavaria's lovely lakes, eating cold spaghetti from stylish plastic dishes, swimming behind the boat and just looking across the water, nothing else required. there was not much breeze, but lots of sun and giggling. sunset foto by Bine!!!

Ammersee Such marvellous autumn days. Got on my bike, sod the headache. M. and I cycled along two of the best Bavarian lakes, had an excellent lunch and lots of sunshine. It is easy to be happy, but it is dead silly to think that money has nothing to do with it. It was nice to eat a meal sitting down by the lake (Schreyegg, Ammersee) instead of eating a hot dog.
