Gegen die Wand

Es scheint wieder die Sonne, und ich bin flugs Richtung Berge und Schneeglöckchen gefahren (ja ich weiß schon, sind Märzenbecher. ich nenne sie halt Schneeglöckerl). Erinnert ihr euch an mein Lieblingsschwimmbad am Samerberg? So schaut es dort jetzt aus. ( info an Luisa: Schnitzel war zu! ) *** Sunshine is back and I quickly drove to the mountains and the snowdrops. This is my favourite mountain swimming pool, recovering from an icy winter. No schnitzel today ... And no translation today, because the book I am talking about it available only in German, you wouldn't have heard of it. It's about a woman in total lockdown. A fantasy that feels so close to reality these days. And - she really misses oranges. Der Steinsee, so weit...

Eine kühle, grüne, feuchte Woche geht zu Ende, mit gerade genug Sonnenschein, um Massenselbstmord zu verhindern. Aber wer will schon bei 35°C in Portugal schwitzen und in der Sonne am Wasser sitzen? Der Wald oben, auf dem Weg zum gelb-blauen Möbelkaufhaus, ist mit meinem neuen Smartphone (nicht das iPhone, sondern die Volksausgabe davon) aufgenommen, der unten mit meiner "richtigen" Kamera. Schon ein Unterschied! *** Another wet, cool week is nearing its end, a week with just enough sunshine to prevent a mass outbreak of  suicides. On the other hand - who wants to be sweating in sweltering 35°C in Portugal? Blinded by sunshine? The picture above of  a lovely green wood was taken on my way to some therapeutic shopping with my new smartphone (not the iPhone, the other one).
